My name is Amy and I am sixteen years old
. I live in Great Britain. I like proper grammar and Romeo and Juliet. I want to be a photographer, but am aiming for a lawyer. Books and music are the antidote to all of lifes problems. MLIA never fails to put me in a good mood. I want to be fluent in French because it is a far more beautiful language than English. I spend my Sunday mornings on Postsecret. I love peppermint flavoured things, except peppermint tea. I hate tea and coffe. I love french, and reading. I’m not too good at reading in french though. I never throw books away and I pretty much regard it as a crime. I love the cold, and hate hot weather. I still have a soft spot for summer though. I make playlists to accompany different situations, but give them unrecognisable names, just in case. There are two things I can’t stand in a person, ignorance and hypocrisy. I hate it when someone goes back on their word to an obsessive level. I like things to be in order, but everything in my life seems unorganised — but really no one else understands the order. I’m far too sensitive. I hate blood. I like to draw. I like knowing things. I am not a morning person.
Music: I particularly like acoustic music, but my taste is pretty varied. My favourite band is Hellogoodbye and, at the moment, my favourite singer is Lady Gaga. My five top songs on iTunes are Misguided Ghosts by Paramore, Autumn by Paolo Nutini, Lullabye by Fall Out Boy, New Perspective by Panic! At The Disco and Don’t Forget by Demi Lovato (don’t judge me :P)
Television: The channel I spend most of my time watching is E4. My favourite shows are Glee, 90210, Desperate Housewives, Hustle, Waterloo Road, Gossip Girl, Skins, Ugly Betty and QI. Okay, I watch a lot of TV.
Books: As I said before, I love books. I can never pick a favourite, but Harry Potter has a special place in my heart. Currently I enjoy reading Jodi Piccoult books. She is a great author, the film My Sister’s Keeper was based on one of her books. Of course the books are always better than the films.
Films: I love any films directed by Baz Luhrman, you can always tell they are directed by him. So my favourite films are Moulin Rouge and Romeo and Juliet. There isn’t really any films I don’t like, except maybe Sci-Fi. Sorry Star Wars, I just don’t feel the love.
